The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading procurement activities to ensure the organization has the materials, components, and services needed to support manufacturing operations while achieving competitive cost, quality, delivery, and inventory objectives.
This role provides leadership to the procurement team and develops sourcing strategies for key direct and indirect material categories, with a strong focus on steel, fabricated components, and other materials critical to manufacturing operations. 5+ years of progressive procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing, or supply-chain experience.
Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience negotiating with suppliers and managing significant material spend.
Strong understanding of purchasing, supplier management, inventory, and manufacturing operations.
Strong analytical and financial acumen, including the ability to analyze pricing, spend, and cost trends.
Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills.

Previous procurement leadership or supervisory experience.
Experience sourcing steel, metals, fabricated components, or other direct manufacturing materials .

Experience with Epicor Kinetic or similar manufacturing ERP system.
Experience developing supplier scorecards and formal supplier-performance programs.
Experience supporting new product introduction and engineering-driven sourcing.
