Job summary

Tomarco Contractor Specialties, dba ISAT Total Support, is seeking a Procurement Manager in La Mirada, CA, to lead purchasing for capital projects on a remote-friendly basis. The role emphasizes strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams.

Based at our corporate offices with remote flexibility, you will negotiate contracts, monitor spend, and drive cost efficiency while maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field like Business Management, Contract Management or Procurement.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement-related roles (e.g., Procurement Clerk, Junior Buyer).
• Negotiation experience of any kind.
• Industry and market experience.
• Certification preferred but not required (e.g., CIP, NVQ, HND/Certificate in Procurement).

Responsibilities

• Perform all procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiating vendor agreements, preparation of contracts and vendor management through project completion.
• Identify supplier sources, source quality and affordable products in a timely manner.
• Negotiating contracts and managing supplier and vendor relationships.
• Monitor project purchases, deliveries, and expenditures to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with budgets.
• Communicate with engineering teams to ensure their product and service needs are met for project orders.
• Identify areas for improvement to drive performance and results.
• Manage overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement for the organization.
• Develop strong relationships with management and supply partners to improve business.
• Assist and develop an effective structure for monitoring purchase orders.

PURPOSE/SUMMARY:

This position is based out of our Corporate Offices in La Mirada, CA, working remotely. The Procurement Manageris responsible for the purchasing of all the goods and services for the capital projects awarded to Tomarco/ISAT Total Support. Occasional business travel will be required for Vendor and Customer Meetings as needed.

RESPONSIBILIES:

• Performing all procurement activities including pre -qualification, negotiating vendor agreements, preparation of contracts and vendor management through project completion.
• Identify supplier sources, sources quality and affordable products in a timely manner.
• Negotiating contracts and managing supplier and vendor relationships.
• Monitor project purchases, deliveries, and expenditures to ensure that the approved purchases are cost efficient.
• Monitor project purchases, deliveries, and expenditures to ensure that the approved purchases are within budget guidelines, are cost efficient and of high - quality.
• Communicate fluidly with all engineering teams to determine that all of their product and service needs are satisfied to the proper project orders assigned and report any back ordered changed or missing products.
• Identifying areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results.
• Managing overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement for the organization.
• Developing strong relationships with management and supply partners to improve business.
• Assist and develop an effective and accurate structure for monitoring purchase orders.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field like Business Management, Contract Management or Procurement.
• 5+ years of experience working as a Procurement Clerk, Junior Buyer, or any other related position.
• Negotiation experience of any kind.
• Industry and market experience.
• Certification preferred but not required, such as the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIP) certification, NVQ certifications in Supply Chain Management and Higher National Diploma/Certificate in Procurement).
