Job summary

Express Employment Professionals of Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Procurement Manager for an aerospace company in south Fort Worth. This on-site role focuses on developing and executing procurement strategies, leading supplier management, and driving cost reductions to support aerospace production schedules.

You will oversee supplier qualification, onboarding, and performance, conduct supplier reviews, and push continuous improvements. Monday-Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:15 pm.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience in aerospace or advanced manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 quality systems and aerospace regulations.
• Expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost analysis.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Infor, or Epicor.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or Operations Management.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with aerospace production schedules, customer requirements, and business objectives
• Lead sourcing initiatives for aerospace materials, machined components, avionics, electronics, raw materials, special processes, tooling, and outsourced services
• Manage supplier qualification, onboarding, and performance measurement program
• Conduct supplier business reviews and participate in supplier audits as required
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, value engineering, and process improvements
• Drive continuous improvement projects that enhance procurement performance and supply chain resilience

Ideal candidates will have:

• 7+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience in aerospace, aviation, defense, or advanced manufacturing environments
• Working knowledge of AS9100 quality systems and aerospace regulatory requirements
• Expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost analysis.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Infor, or Epicor
