Job summary

PhxPhxProConnect is seeking a procurement professional to join a global client’s team in GA, with responsibility for strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration across regions.

You will drive cost optimization, manage supplier relationships, and align regional procurement activities with corporate strategy in a complex, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three to five years of experience in a procurement function.
• Proven ability to implement strategies in a large, complex and evolving organization.
• Experience in Packaging, manufacturing or FMCG industries is desirable.
• Stakeholder management and strong communication/influencing skills.
• Procurement technical skills: market analysis, supplier selection and negotiation.
• Knowledge of procurement data systems and tools.
• Ability to operate in an international environment and manage risk.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate procurement strategic sourcing plans and resolve roadblocks for prompt implementation.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and drive projects to realize benefits.
• Perform a geographic role liaising with sites and suppliers within a defined geography.
• Improve interface efficiency between procurement and sites.
• Interface between Group Procurement and plants; represent regional needs in category/strategy.
• Build relationships with suppliers to secure quality and best cost.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to position procurement as a trusted partner.
• Support regional initiatives such as Supply Chain Financing and Vendor Managed Inventory.
• Provide leadership in performance management of supplier services and delivery.

Job Overview

• Facilitate the implementation of procurement strategic sourcingplans, understanding, acknowledging, and resolving roadblocks ensuring promptinitiative implementation
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and drive procurementprojects to realize PBIT (i.e. with a focus on Pre-Press materials/services andindirect spend) and non-PBIT/Working Capital benefits to the company (i.e.Supply Chain Financing initiative across region)
• Perform a geographic role – liaising with sites and supplierswithin a defined geography
• to improve the interface efficiency between procurement &sites.
• Also act as the interface between Group Procurement and plants,representing plants’/regional needs in Category and Strategy development andfocusing on execution and compliance at the plant level of agreed Procurementstrategies and category plans for your area of responsibility
• Build relationships with nominated suppliers so as to position thecompany as a preferred and trusted business partner and ensure an uninterruptedsupply of quality goods at optimum cost
• Build relationship with internal stakeholders to position
• Procurement as a trusted partner to ensure early visibility ofprocurement projects ·
• Support the selection, qualification, management and developmentof local/regional suppliers and seek to maximize the value of theserelationships for Company

Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum of three tofive years of experience in a procurement function
• Proven ability toimplement strategies in a large, complex and evolving organization
