Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks a Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) to oversee supplier-related activities for the Space Launch Systems program at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The role requires leading cross-functional teams, managing supplier performance, and ensuring contracts and procurement processes align with program goals.

Qualifications

Leadership experience in team leadership or cross-functional programs.
5+ years in Supplier Management/Procurement as Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
5+ years negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.
5+ years building reports and materials for leadership reviews.

Responsibilities

Acts as an authorized agent with responsibility for managing supplier activities and contracts.
Manages employees across Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines.
Develops and executes project and process plans; implements policies and procedures.
Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers, leads improvements.
Maintains relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and reports.
Oversees and approves technical approaches, products and processes.
Oversees negotiation processes and related tools.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
