Job summary

US-Tool-Group- in Sharonville, OH (with openings in Livonia, MI and Dearborn, MI) is seeking a Procurement/Inventory Analyst to manage stock levels, place supplier orders, and coordinate on-site at a major automotive customer facility.

You will monitor lead times, use ERP/MRP tools, and maintain accurate purchasing records to optimize inventory and support exceptional service at all locations.

• Familiarity with data entry, filing and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Daily correspondence with site personnel and customers.
• Evaluate stock levels and place orders with suppliers using planner tools.
• Print reports and purchase orders; verify delivery dates, quantities, UOM and pricing.
• Follow up with suppliers on unacknowledged POs.
• Contact suppliers to resolve shipment issues.
• Collaborate with Discrepancy Team on discrepancies.
• Fill requests for products not currently carried.
• Placement of POs against requisitions.
• Order spot buys for products not stocked.
• Work with customers and engineers to identify opportunities for improved pricing.
