Job summary

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is seeking a Procurement Intern for Spring 2027 at our Green Bay headquarters. The internship runs 12 weeks with up to 20 hours per week, and requires attendance at the Green Bay office periodically for collaboration, facilitation and team engagement.

• Active enrollment in a 2- or 4-year accredited college in a relevant course of study.
• Strong interest in procurement, analytics, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to support process improvement initiatives, analyze business processes, and work effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within the Procurement department, primarily with the Product Services and Category Support teams to support Sales requests.
• Assist with new product additions, kit requests, and assortment planning activities to ensure accurate product availability.
• Analyze data and procurement requests to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings, including custom kitting initiatives, and provide project support as needed.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by helping evaluate processes, track project progress, and recommend efficiency enhancements.

Procurement Intern – Spring 2027

As an intern at Imperial, we’ll help you design an experience that meets your learning objectives while helping you explore how the areas of our business relate and interact. You’ll enjoy a variety of day-to-day work assignments, cross-functional meetings, exposure to executive leadership, and soft skill development.

Imperial Supplies is a growing distributor of fleet maintenance products. We’ve been based in Green Bay since 1958 and have a strong history of double-digit annual growth!

• Paid internship starting in Spring 2027
• Duration of 12 weeks, up to 20 hours per week, depending on student interest and availability
• Expectation to work from the Green Bay office periodically to support collaboration, facilitation, and team engagement
