Job summary

Performance Food Group is offering a Procurement Internship in Richmond, VA. You will gain hands-on experience, work on a real business project, and collaborate with leaders across Sales, Operations, Finance, and HR.

You’ll learn how pricing, contracts, service levels, and inventory are managed, while supporting day-to-day activities and strategic projects. Ideal candidates are rising juniors or seniors studying Economics, Business, Supply Chain, or related fields, with strong MS Office skills

Qualifications

Must be located within commuting distance of Richmond, VA
Rising Junior or Rising Senior
Minimum GPA of 3.0, preferred Senior could be considered

Responsibilities

Learn how procurement teams manage vendor and supplier relationships
Support purchasing activities involving pricing, contract terms, service levels, and inventory tracking
Assist with day‑to‑day procurement activities, customer service, and business projects
Partner with teams across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Human Resources
Present project findings and recommendations to business leaders
