Job summary

Oshkosh Delivery, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Purchasing Intern to support the Global Procurement and Supply Chain teams in Oshkosh, WI for a Spring/Summer 2027 start. You will assist commodity managers with negotiations, supplier selection, pricing, forecasts, and performance management, learning how pricing ties to standard cost and broader financial decisions.

Qualifications

Student working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Economics, Logistics, or related field.
Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
Willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for Summer 2027.
GPA of 3.0 or greater.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while working independently and efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support commodity managers with negotiations, supplier selection, pricing, forecasts, and performance management.
Visit suppliers to understand manufacturing processes, capabilities, capacity, and constraints.
Administer RFQs by sending packages to suppliers, collecting quotations, and comparing pricing, lead times, and terms.
Maintain accurate pricing on purchase orders and component standard costs to align with finance.
