Job summary

RRD Company in the Chicago area offers a hybrid, full‑time internship in procurement for the summer before the junior year. You will gain hands‑on exposure to strategic sourcing, supplier operations, process optimization, and cross‑functional collaboration within Global Procurement.

You will support day‑to‑day operations, supplier communications, RFP coordination, and data management while learning SRM and CSR initiatives. A strong willingness to learn and professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills for cross‑functional work.
• Enrollment in a procurement or supply chain undergraduate degree program.
• Willingness to learn and support end‑to‑end procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations across procurement teams and categories.
• Assist with supplier communications and initial performance reviews.
• Support strategic sourcing projects including research and RFP coordination.
• Maintain procurement data, contracts, and supplier records.
• Support SRM activities and collaboration with internal teams.
• Collaborate on planning sessions, process improvements and CSR initiatives.
• Prepare leadership updates and project summaries.
• Provide general support for business requirements as needed.
