Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. (NYSE: HWM) is seeking a motivated intern to join the Howmet Engines Procurement team for Summer 2027 in downtown Pittsburgh, PA.

The 12-week paid internship will involve 40 hours per week with engaging projects, leadership lunch-and-learns, networking with senior leaders, and social activities with fellow interns. Responsibilities include improving supplier performance, spend, forecasting, and overall procurement processes.

Qualifications

• 3.0 GPA and above.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and have working experience in Microsoft PowerBI.
• Must be involved in at least 1 extracurricular activity.
• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in business, operations management, supply chain, engineering or related with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Must be able to provide documentation in the original form establishing both your identity and your employment eligibility in the U.S.
• This position entails access to export-controlled items you must be able to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Responsibilities

• Assigned projects will focus on process improvements relevant to supplier performance, supplier spend, supplier forecasting and the improvement of the overall procurement processes.
• Tasks will be assigned to review current state, and both recommend and implement proposed improvements.
