Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation is seeking a Summer 2027 Procurement Intern to conduct routine sourcing and supply chain projects under supervision. The role can be based at the Dallas corporate office or at HF Sinclair’s Tulsa refinery location.

You will assist with spend data extraction, reporting, market research, and support category management initiatives while gaining exposure to procurement operations in a dynamic energy company.

Qualifications

• Some completed coursework toward a degree in Supply Chain or related field.
• Proficient with word processing, database, e-mail and spreadsheet applications
• Strong written and verbal communication and data organization skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with spend data research and reporting to identify trends and metrics.
• Support industry and market research and reporting for stakeholders.
• Contribute to multi-year category management plan design and interface.
• Assist in supply chain system implementations.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc spend data reporting to support category strategies and trends.
• Help with quality control of data coding and accuracy.
• Attend Procurement meetings and conference calls.

Job description

Basic Function

HF Sinclair is seeking a Summer 2027 Procurement Intern who will conduct routine strategic sourcing and/or supply chain projects for the Procurement department under close supervision. This role will be located at the corporate office in Dallas, Texas or HF Sinclair's refinery location in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Job Duties

• Assists with researches and extracts spend data from HF Sinclair's systems and creates meaningful reporting to identify trends, performance metrics and issues
• Assists with conducting industry and market research to understand assigned categories and creates reporting for managers and business stakeholders
• Assists in the design and interface with the business of multi-year category management plans
• Assists in supply chain system implementations
• Assists with regular and ad-hoc reporting of spend data to support ongoing category strategies and/or logistics trends
• Assists with quality control processes to ensure accurate data and coding of spend
• Attends various functional Procurement meetings and conference calls

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.

Education Level

Some completed classes towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Supply Chain or a related field .

Required Skills

• Ability to apply intermediate level clerical and data entry assignments based on pre-established guidelines
• Basic knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement principles and practices, and administrative procedures
• Proficient with word processing, database, e-mail and spreadsheet applications skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication
• Detail oriented
• Ability to collect, review and organize data
• Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations
