Job summary

HF Sinclair is seeking a Summer 2027 Procurement Intern to assist in routine strategic sourcing and supply chain projects under close supervision. The role can be located at the Dallas, Texas corporate office or HF Sinclair's refinery location in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

You will help with spend data extraction, reporting, market research, and participating in category management initiatives while pursuing coursework in Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement principles.
• Ability to perform intermediate data entry and reporting tasks.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with data review and organization abilities.
• Some completed classes toward a Bachelor's or Master's in Supply Chain or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with researches and extracts spend data and create reports to identify trends and metrics.
• Assist with industry and market research and reporting for stakeholders.
• Contribute to design and interface with business of multi-year category management plans.
• Help with supply chain system implementations.
• Produce regular and ad-hoc spend data reporting to support category strategies and logistics trends.
• Support quality control to ensure accurate data coding.
• Attend various Procurement meetings and conference calls.

Basic Function

HF Sinclair is seeking a Summer 2027 Procurement Intern who will conduct routine strategic sourcing and/or supply chain projects for the Procurement department under close supervision. This role will be located at the corporate office in Dallas, Texas or HF Sinclair's refinery location in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Job Duties

• Assists with researches and extracts spend data from HF Sinclair's systems and creates meaningful reporting to identify trends, performance metrics and issues
• Assists with conducting industry and market research to understand assigned categories and creates reporting for managers and business stakeholders
• Assists in the design and interface with the business of multi-year category management plans
• Assists in supply chain system implementations
• Assists with regular and ad-hoc reporting of spend data to support ongoing category strategies and/or logistics trends
• Assists with quality control processes to ensure accurate data and coding of spend
• Attends various functional Procurement meetings and conference calls

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.

Some completed classes towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Supply Chain or a related field .

• Ability to apply intermediate level clerical and data entry assignments based on pre-established guidelines
• Basic knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement principles and practices, and administrative procedures
