Job summary

Ohio State University’s Center for Clinical Research Management is seeking a Financial Operations Coordinator to manage procurement of supplies, services, and equipment for the CCRM and related departments. The role acts as the primary contact for procurement questions and oversees invoices and payments.

You will coordinate Clincard allocations, collaborate with Purchasing and vendors, ensure proper documentation, and provide guidance on fiscal policies. A background check may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Preferred 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Background check and possible pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement of supplies, services, and equipment for CCRM departments.
• Serve as initial contact for procurement questions.
• Review and process invoices and payments.
• Coordinate and reallocate Clincards for study teams.
• Work with purchasing and vendors to resolve procurement issues.
• Verify backup documentation and approvals for expenditures.
• Provide information on fiscal policies and procedures.
• Verify and reconcile accounting transactions.
• Participate in internal auditing reviews and monitor practices.
• Liaise with university offices of Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Travel, and Accounting.
• Utilize University HR, Financial, and Procurement systems to manage information.
• Maintain fiscal records; participate in year-end closing; other duties.
