Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a financial field and 3 years of professional finance/contracting experience.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws pertaining to purchasing, contracts, and contract compliance.
• Experience with procurement processes, policies, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and oversight of the Procurement Resource Group and sets priorities and performance expectations.
• Advises staff and stakeholders on procurement processes, policies, and best practices.
• Oversees procurement actions, amendments, assignments, and letter-of-acceptance requests.
• Leads procurement research activities including market research and supplier analysis.
• Monitors contracts and coordinates procurement needs to prevent lapses or service disruptions.
• Develops training materials and coordinates procurement staff training.
• Ensures procurement guidance and templates are accurate and accessible.
