Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Expediter in Overland Park, KS to support project teams with mildly complex expediting activities and related procurement duties. The role works under general supervision as an individual contributor.

Preferred candidates have a BA/BS in Supply Chain or related field and at least two years of relevant experience, with strong attention to detail and communication skills. Hybrid or flexible work arrangements may be offered after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience.
• Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR).
• Knowledge of procurement and expediting processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and track project expediting activities aligned with project requirements.
• Monitor vendor schedules, shop workflow and production status.
• Collaborate with project teams, supply chain, engineering and field receiving.
• Prepare status reports and present to project management.
