Job summary

QCS Staffing is seeking a Procurement Equipment Advisor to support a major pharmaceutical project in Ohio on a 12-month contract. You will own post-award execution of equipment PO’s, expedite suppliers to meet schedules, and maintain direct vendor communication to mitigate delivery risks.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and extensive experience buying pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment on CAPEX projects, with a strong GMP understanding to ensure proper manufacturing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related discipline.
• Extensive experience buying and executing pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment on CAPEX projects.
• Proven track record managing long-lead equipment suppliers through fabrication, FAT, shipment and delivery.
• Strong understanding of GMP equipment manufacturing, inspection, and release processes.

Responsibilities

• Own post-award execution of major process and utility equipment purchase orders.
• Actively expedite equipment suppliers, holding them accountable to fabrication schedules, inspection points, FAT readiness, and delivery commitments.
• Maintain direct, routine communication with vendors to identify and mitigate delivery risk early.
• Track supplier progress against contractual milestones, manufacturing schedules, and project needs.
