Job summary

Philips is seeking a Procurement Engineer in the Malvern, PA area to drive New Product Development and industrialize supplier bases for AM&D sensor projects. You will lead sourcing strategy, manage RFQ activities, and push for cost, quality, and risk improvements across the product lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of procurement leadership in regulated manufacturing, strong DFx/DFM and contract negotiation skills, and a track record of delivering cost reductions and supplier innovations

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading procurement and sourcing for new product introductions.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments with R&D collaboration.
• Experience with DFx/DFM, supplier negotiations, and RFQ processes.
• Strong cross-functional communication with R&D, Quality and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product sourcing strategy and execution to meet cost and risk targets.
• Manage supplier engagement, BoM grids, and RFP activities through Ariba.
• Drive supplier innovation and Design for Excellence (DfX) initiatives.
• Oversee product launch readiness and lifecycle management, including ramp-up.
