Job Summary

The Procurement Director oversees firm-wide procurement processes, negotiates contracts, and generates cost savings. Responsibilities include developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and aligning procurement activities with the company's financial goals, working closely with the VP of FP&A and other business leaders.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Develop procurement processes supporting business growth.
  2. Implement strategies for cost savings and efficiency.
  3. Negotiate contracts with favorable terms.
  4. Analyze market trends and conduct cost-benefit analyses.
  5. Manage supplier relationships and performance.
  6. Support budgeting and align procurement with financial plans.
  7. Report activities and savings to senior leadership.
Contract Management
  1. Translate functional requests into contract language.
  2. Incorporate SLAs into contracts.
  3. Manage contract renewals and reviews.
  4. Collaborate on risk mitigation with third-party risk committees.
Business Leader Collaboration
  1. Understand procurement needs and align with organizational goals.
  2. Coach stakeholders on procurement practices.
  3. Translate requirements into RFPs and facilitate demonstrations.
  4. Coordinate with IT resellers for technology procurement.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 7+ years in procurement, vendor management, or related fields.
  • Experience in negotiations, contract management, and RFP processes.
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Influencing skills.
  • Experience in Wealth Management, Finance, or FinTech industries.
  • Knowledge of information security regulations.
Work Schedule & Conditions

Standard hours are Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM, with occasional early or late hours. Position can be remote, preferably in the Boston area. Travel up to 10% may be required.
