Aston Carter is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Associate to support a busy procurement team in Elk River, MN. This contract role focuses on administrative and transactional purchasing tasks, data accuracy, and reporting within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes data handling, ERP updates, and collaboration with internal teams to resolve discrepancies while following established processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in purchasing, procurement, or data entry.
• Proficient in Excel with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and data formatting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update pricing information within ERP systems.
• Process date revisions and purchasing-related updates.
• Run and distribute purchasing and supply chain reports.
• Perform high-volume data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with internal teams and vendors.
• Review and compare data sets to identify inconsistencies and errors.
• Support purchasing and procurement teams with administrative tasks.
• Assist with daily operational activities and reporting requirements.
