Job summary

Magnolia Plumbing, LLC in the DC metropolitan area is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to manage day-to-day purchasing, create and track purchase orders, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams. You will use ServiceTitan and Intacct to process jobs and inventory, follow up on approvals, and ensure timely delivery of materials for both residential and commercial projects.

A 1+ year purchasing or administrative background in trades is preferred; strong communication, organization,

Qualifications

• 1+ year of purchasing, procurement, or administrative support experience (trades background a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfortable learning and using ServiceTitan PO and Vendor modules.
• Ability to accurately create, track, and maintain purchase orders.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders for job-specific needs and stock replenishment.
• Submit purchase orders in ServiceTitan tied to jobs, projects, or stock.
• Route POs through approvals and follow up on pending approvals.
• Follow up with vendors on order status, backorders, and delivery timing.
• Track backordered items and update ETA.
• Support Purchasing Manager with vendor pricing and quotes.
• Assist with month-end reconciliation of open POs.
• Provide PO/receipts docs to Accounting for invoice matching.
