Job summary

Job description

We are implementing a new SAP system with a targeted go-live date in late March. This role requires flexibility to assist with manual processes during the go-live phase, some of which may not be identified until the event itself.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in the use of SAP ERP system for investigation, problem-solving, and reporting.

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To:

  • Manage and resolve issues related to SAP system setup and configuration during onboarding.
  • Troubleshoot problems to meet business requirements and ensure smooth system integration.

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or Engineering.
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of general procurement experience in industrial, MRO, or service parts environments.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to learn, modify, and improve reports and analysis tools.
  • Strong prioritization, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and influence supplier partners.
  • Attention to detail.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Procurement credentials such as C.P.M, CPSM, or APICS.
  • 5+ years of procurement or parts management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Field Service Network or Parts Distribution.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Monitor open orders, manage supplier communications, and coordinate supplemental orders.
  • Identify alternative parts sources and assist in emergency outage recovery.
  • Interact with suppliers and assist in training on system routines.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and support inventory reconciliation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
