Procurement & Contracts Specialist
San Antonio, TX
Contract Position
$40.92-$50.07/Hour

Responsibilities:
Support supplier contract management by integrating program, customer, product, and in-service strategies into sourcing and negotiation efforts.
Develop and execute contractual documents and binding agreements, including pricing and terms and conditions.
Manage supply and demand logistics, supplier schedules, quality, delivery, and financial performance.
Lead and implement supplier performance improvement initiatives and incorporate results into future procurement strategies.
Mitigate risk by managing issues and identifying opportunities across the contract lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and typically 6+ years of related work experience, or a Master’s degree with 4+ years of related experience, or 10+ years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
3+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Procurement, and/or Supply Chain practices.
3+ years of experience interpreting and negotiating contract terms and conditions.
3+ years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
3+ years of experience working with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
3+ years of experience working with various contract types (e.g., Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus).
3+ years of experience or formal training in Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliance.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
3+ years of experience in Contracts & Pricing or as a Purchasing Agent/Buyer.
