Job description

Immediate need for a talented Procurement Contracts Negotiator. This is a 03+ months contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential, located remotely in the U.S. Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if interested.

Pay Range: $30 - $31/hour. Employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm PST, CT, or ET.
  2. Review, draft, and negotiate agreements with procurement vendors and manage all vendor contract activities related to professional and enterprise services commodities (facilities, consulting, travel, memberships/claims, HR/marketing), information technology commodities (software, hardware, telecom, security), and health operations commodities (population health & clinical operations, pharmacy, quality & risk adjustment, payment integrity).
  3. Handle agreement types including: master service agreements (MSA), business associate agreements (BAA), delegated services agreements, statements of work (SOW), nondisclosure agreements (NDA), service level agreements (SLA), software license agreements, and related third-party contracts.
  4. Draft and approve amendments, terminations, contract summaries, and other related tasks. Review, interpret, and advise departments on contractual rights and obligations.
  5. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to legal, contractual, and risk management standards.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  1. 3-5 years of contracting, procurement, and/or legal experience.
  2. Understanding of sourcing and procurement processes including soliciting, awarding, and onboarding vendors.
  3. Advanced skills in negotiating, redlining, and interpreting legal and commercial provisions.
  4. Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain/Procurement, or a related field.
  5. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, managing complex contract negotiations through tracked changes.
