Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Contract Manager to lead the procurement contract management function, guiding contract intake, review, lifecycle management, renewals, and compliance. You will coach a small team and collaborate with sourcing, category management, legal, and business stakeholders to enable efficient contract execution and mitigate risk.

This hybrid role is based near Portland, Oregon, with an in-office requirement for four days per week, subject to business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, or related field.
• 6–8 years in contract management, procurement, or legal operations with supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management and procurement processes.
• Experience reading and interpreting contract terms and managing redlines.
• Familiarity with legal terminology and risk management principles.
• Experience with contract management systems and procurement platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the contract management team for intake, review, and recordkeeping of procurement contracts.
• Oversee complex contract review processes with legal, outside counsel and stakeholders to ensure policy compliance.
• Monitor contract renewals and extensions aligning with category strategies and business objectives.
• Develop and maintain contract management processes, tools, and templates to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Partner with sourcing and category teams to ensure smooth handoffs and risk mitigation.
