Job Description Summary

This role involves strategic and tactical sourcing, contract administration, vendor relationship management, negotiations, and procurement operations. The position is highly visible with internal and external stakeholders and requires direct engagement with suppliers.

About the Role:

  1. Procurement Strategy: Lead, mentor, and manage a team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Develop, implement, and optimize procurement strategies aligned with C&W’s goals and objectives.
  2. Sourcing & Vendor Management: Source new suppliers, evaluate capabilities, identify suitable solutions, and collaborate with TDS and Corporate Category Managers to award contracts.
  3. Cost Control: Design and manage the RFP tender process to support program goals, interpret contracts, and negotiate favorable terms with vendors to achieve savings.
  4. Process Improvement: Continuously enhance procurement processes, workflows, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other business documents, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and regulations.

About You:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field; MBA or related Master’s preferred.
  2. Proven experience as a Procurement & Contract Manager or similar role, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, construction, engineering, or contracts management.
  3. Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing, and vendor management across APAC.
  4. Knowledge of legal and regulatory aspects of procurement globally, with familiarity with international construction contracts.
  5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
