Job summary

Infosys BPM is seeking Consultants to join our Chicago area team, focusing on procurement and supply chain delivery for diverse clients. You will collaborate with Senior Consultants and Managers to deliver structured analyses, synthesize data, and produce professional client deliverables using MS Office and Gen AI tools.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of related experience and are willing to be based in Chicago, IL, with travel up to 80% as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of consulting engagements through defined tasks and deliverables, working closely with Senior Consultants, Managers and other senior team members.
• Apply strategy consulting critical thinking and structured problem-solving approaches to client challenges, with guidance from senior team members.
• Gather, analyze and synthesize data to support insights and recommendations.
• Build clear, accurate and professional client deliverables using M365 suite tools, including PowerPoint, Excel and Gen AI tools.
• Work directly with client team members to understand requirements and context; communicate clearly and professionally.
• Support workshops, interviews, and working sessions through preparation, documentation and follow-up actions.
• Build credibility through rigor, responsiveness and a strong quality mindset.
• Build foundational knowledge in procurement value delivery and supply chain excellence.
• Support work across procurement and supply chain initiatives (e.g., sourcing/category analysis, contracting support, operating model reviews, supplier governance, sustainability, and risk analysis).
• Contribute to initiatives that advance procurement and supply chain excellence by improving cost, service, reliability, resilience, and governance through disciplined analysis and practical recommendations.
• Use Technology to improve the quality and speed of delivery: Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), along with emerging generative AI ways of working.
• Actively contribute as a reliable and engaged team member; demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks and follow through to completion.
• Seek feedback and continuously develop consulting, technical and domain skills; bring curiosity and thoughtful questions to your work.

• Build foundational knowledge in procurement value delivery and supply chain excellence.
• Support work across procurement and supply chain initiatives (e.g., sourcing/category analysis, contracting support, operating model reviews, supplier governance, sustainability, and risk analysis), building foundational domain expertise through on‑the‑job experience
• Contribute to initiatives that advance procurement and supply chain excellence by improving cost, service, reliability, resilience, and governance through disciplined analysis and practical recommendations.

Professional Development & Team Contribution

• Use Technology to improve the quality and speed of delivery: Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), along with emerging generative AI ways of working

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 1 years of relevant work experience in the job description.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel analysis and communication in MSWord and MS PowerPoint
• 2+ years of prior corporate experience and exposure to supply chain, procurement, operations or strategy
• Ability to be based out of our Chicago, IL office
• Ability to travel up to 80% as required
