Reporting to the Procurement Director, the Procurement Category Manager will be a key member of the Procurement Team, responsible for managing procurement processes for assigned categories, developing strategies, leading negotiations, and collaborating with stakeholders and vendors to optimize procurement outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
2. Developing procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve vendor performance.
3. Collaborating with internal teams to align procurement with organizational goals.
4. Leading complex contract negotiations to secure favorable terms.
5. Facilitating RFX processes to ensure transparency and competitiveness.
6. Staying informed on industry trends and technological advancements to identify new vendor opportunities.
7. Creating reports and providing insights for decision-making.

Qualifications include:

1. 7+ years of procurement and strategic sourcing experience, including sourcing strategies, RFX development, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
2. Proven ability to influence strategy and achieve results.
3. Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and presentation skills.
4. Strong analytical, judgment, and negotiation skills.
5. Experience leading complex initiatives and managing cross-functional teams.
