Job summary

KOS International Talent Group seeks an experienced CapEx Procurement Manager for our Georgia manufacturing team. You will lead end-to-end sourcing of production equipment and complete lines, from supplier sourcing to delivery acceptance, including RFI/RFQ/RFP and contract closing.

You will work with engineering, production, quality, and finance to support plant construction and line expansion, and liaise with the Hong Kong HQ to ensure compliance with global procurement standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in large-scale production equipment procurement.
• Experience with Greenfield or Brownfield plant projects.
• Background in food & beverage, pharma, chemical, or film packaging industries preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States; relocation to Newnan, GA required.
• Familiarity with procurement systems such as SAP, Coupa, or Ariba is a plus.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CapEx Procurement Manager to join our Georgia manufacturing team. This role focuses on the procurement of large-scale production equipment and line projects. You will be involved from the earliest stages of project initiation, leading the full process from supplier sourcing, tendering and negotiation, through contract signing and delivery acceptance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in engineering, production, quality, and finance to support new plant construction and existing line expansion projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement for production equipment, complete lines, and line expansion projects, including RFI, RFQ/RFP, commercial negotiation, contract management, and delivery follow-up;
• Deeply engage in Greenfield (new plant build) and Brownfield (plant expansion or retrofit) projects, contributing to procurement strategy from the early project phase;
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams from the equipment user's perspective, ensuring procurement solutions align with actual operational needs;
• Develop and manage a network of equipment suppliers, negotiate multi-year contracts, and conduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis and risk control;
• Liaise with the global procurement team and Hong Kong headquarters to ensure projects comply with global procurement standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above; background in engineering, supply chain, or facility management preferred;

Required Skills

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in large-scale production equipment (CapEx) procurement;
• Must have experience in Greenfield (building a new plant from the ground up) or Brownfield (plant expansion or retrofit) project procurement;
• Background in food & beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, or food packaging film industries is preferred; oil and gas industry background is not considered at this time;
• Authorized to work in the United States (green card or existing work visa; no employer sponsorship required);
• Willing to relocate to Newnan, Georgia;
• Strong cross-functional communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Candidates with a background in facility management, equipment engineering, or equipment user-side operations who later moved into procurement are strongly preferred. Such candidates bring a frontline user perspective, enabling them to more accurately understand the plant's equipment needs and provide more practical procurement recommendations to the engineering team;
• MBA, CPSM, or other relevant professional certifications;
• Familiarity with procurement systems such as SAP, Coupa, or Ariba;
• Experience leading procurement teams or managing buyers;
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin (or Cantonese) is a plus, to facilitate collaboration with the Hong Kong headquarters and manufacturing sites in China.
