Job Description:

Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a Cabin Procurement FAL Interface II to join our team based in Mobile, AL.

Procurement specialist for the management of supply chain operations for all cabin equipment in FAL Tack Line and Delivery Center. Responsible for managing the supplier on-site support team activities.

The team at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facilities assemble the finest aircraft in the world, along two (soon to be three) production lines for the A220 and A320 Family aircraft. Nearby on ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus’ strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond.

Your challenges:
  • Act as Cabin Procurement Interface for the A320 FAL in Mobile:
    • Manage outstanding work and non-conformity issues related to cabin furnishing and deliveries of cabin equipment; ensure full transparency and availability at cabin furnishing start. Mitigate risks and implement corrective actions and recovery plans to support AIRBUS planning. Prevent interruptions of the assembly and flight line processes in coordination with the back office, including setting priorities.
    • Analyze interruptions, shortages, failures in delivery processes. Support the return of shipments of Cabin equipment to suppliers, customers, or back to Airbus stock.
    • Ensure clear communication with the A320 FAL US and the Delivery Center through weekly reports and operational meetings.
    • Provide KPIs and evaluations related to cabin supplier activities and deliverables, including root cause analysis and action proposals.
    • Support daily business operations.
  • Outstanding work Management:
    • Manage NC items (including follow-up until closure).
    • Handle all outstanding work activities requiring escalation, coordinating with Procurement Operations.
    • Coordinate with OSS teams to ensure operational reactivity and measure reactivity.
    • Serve as the focal point for supplier management activities following Airbus processes.
    • Ensure quality to achieve customer satisfaction with the cabin.
    • Manage operations with subcontractor focal points.
    • Support stakeholder management and resource management internally and with OSS.
    • Escalate operational issues as needed.
  • Quality FAL & Supplier Collaboration:
    • Liability collaboration process (internal & external).
    • Manage costs/invoices, including payment releases.
    • Collaborate with FAL to reduce damages inflow.
  • Perform other duties related to cabin equipment and internal projects.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance supplier reactivity and performance.
Your boarding pass:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in non-conformity and/or outstanding work management in aerospace.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to read screens, identify individuals, operate electronic equipment, carry up to 30 lbs, lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull items, sit for long periods, squat, kneel, stand, travel domestically and internationally, and walk in various environments.
