Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking a procurement professional to support MRO activities, place orders against contracts, and coordinate supplier onboarding and qualification. You will work with cross-functional teams on sourcing initiatives, contract management, and project tracking, developing an understanding of procurement systems and market dynamics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Internship or professional experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Finance.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Interest in learning SAP, Pilog, and Power BI.
• Continuous improvement mindset with focus on process efficiency and operational excellence.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Place large purchase orders and small-ticket purchases against established contracts, considering quality and urgency.
• Follow up with suppliers on order status and obtain required certifications.
• Support onboarding of new suppliers by collecting and verifying information.
• Manage supplier qualification activities and compliance with company standards.
• Support contract administration and supplier agreement management via Contract Lifecycle Management systems.
• Assist the procurement team with project tracking and value realization reporting.
