Job summary

TRACTIAN is seeking its first Head of Procurement to build the function from zero. Reporting to the CFO, you will own indirect spend, SaaS, software, and services, then expand to direct procurement, electronics, contract manufacturing, and logistics.

You will design processes, negotiate deals, manage vendor risk, and drive real savings—shipping speed without introducing bureaucracy. You’ll work hand-in-hand with stakeholders across the company to understand needs and deliver the most effective,

Qualifications

• Built a procurement function from scratch in a fast-moving company.
• Demonstrated ability to drive measurable savings and reduce risk.
• Experience negotiating across multiple spend categories.
• Experience managing full contract lifecycles with diverse vendors.
• Experience selecting and implementing procurement tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build the procurement function from scratch with policy and tooling.
• Negotiate effective, business-focused solutions with stakeholders.
• Own end-to-end sourcing across direct and indirect spend.
• Drive savings and better terms without slowing the business.
• Stand up a vendor due-diligence and risk program.
• Develop contracting processes used by legal, finance, and stakeholders.
• Consolidate vendors and optimize spend.
• Roll out scalable procurement tooling.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Hardware on sourcing and supply continuity.
