Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Procurement and Logistics Analyst to support acquisition and program operations for DoD contracts. You will research procurement requirements, help negotiate strategies, review vendor proposals, and develop documentation to ensure compliant, cost-effective purchasing decisions.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Navy/DoD logistics and procurement experience, knowledge of FAR, and a Secret clearance.

  • Researches, analyzes, and evaluates procurement requirements to determine appropriate acquisition approaches and aligns with the contract and FAR.
  • Prepares and supports negotiation strategies.
  • Reviews vendor proposals and conducts cost or price and compliance assessments.
  • Develops and maintains procurement documentation, trackers, and program artifacts to support contract execution and financial oversight.
  • Applies program analysis techniques to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities within procurement workflows.
  • Tracks material movement, equipment status, and operational documentation and standardized reporting processes
  • Works independently and may review the work of junior team members or guide less experienced staff.

Independently executes moderately complex tasks with some guidance and contributes to process improvements, documentation, and analytical products that inform program and procurement decisions.

What You'll Work On

You Have
  • 2+ years of experience with Navy or DoD logistics and procurement
  • Experience with procurement or contract management and required documentation such as DD1149
  • Knowledge of FAR and compliance with DoD logistics, procurement, and inventory SOPs
  • Ability to research technical CE/GFE requirements and use Microsoft Office tools effectively
  • HS diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience with logistics analysis or Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience with logistics analysis

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
