Job summary

Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) in Tempe, AZ is seeking a procurement program manager to lead 3P inbound truckload and intermodal carrier sourcing. You will build analytical models, run competitive bid cycles, and partner with carriers to optimize cost, capacity, and service.

You’ll collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Technology to drive cost improvements, develop KPIs, and present insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
• 2+ years of supply chain experience
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Responsibilities

• Manage carrier procurement for Amazon's 3P Inbound Truckload and Intermodal program, including running competitive bid cycles, evaluating carrier rates against market benchmarks, and awarding lanes based on rate and performance
• Build and maintain analytical models to support procurement decisions, capacity planning, and carrier performance tracking
• Partner with carriers and brokers to develop the carrier network, onboard new partners, and hold existing partners accountable to performance standards
• Identify opportunities to improve cost, capacity, and service through data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration
• Work with internal teams across Operations, Finance, and Technology to prioritize and execute procurement initiatives
• Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to track KPIs and surface insights to leadership
• Produce business review updates and present procurement strategy and performance to senior stakeholders
• Navigate ambiguous, complex business challenges independently and drive them to resolution
