Actalent in Reno, NV seeks a Buyer Analyst to oversee timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services for utilities and renewable energy projects. You will balance quality, cost, availability, and lead times while aligning with project scope and schedule.

In this three-year contract with hybrid work, you will utilize Oracle Fusion and MS Office to analyze data, support sourcing events (RFI, RFQ, RFP), and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver sourcing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, supply chain, or related field.
• Three+ years of purchasing or procurement experience, incl. contracts.
• Experience in project management within utilities or transmission.
• Ability to interpret scope documents and specs to identify gaps.
• Proficiency with Oracle Fusion for procurement.

Responsabilités

• Prioritize requisitions to ensure timely procurement.
• Review scope documents and specs for completeness.
• Plan and execute RFx events (RFI/RFQ/RFP).
• Support utilities and transmission projects, incl. substation work.
• Manage procurement scope across project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with teams and third parties for sourcing solutions.
• Maintain procurement records using Oracle Fusion & MS Office.
• Travel to field sites as needed.
• Seek process improvements and supplier relationships.
