Trio, a company under Elior North America, is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Procurement Analyst-(SIM). This role supports the Trio segment in critical areas of product and vendor compliance, service support, product availability and inventory, and account openings/closings.

This position will ensure that Trio’s foodservice operations remain compliant, efficient, and well-supported, directly impacting the quality of service delivered to clients and customers.

Working closely with Elior’s Procurement team, including the Director of Distribution, as well as Trio segment leadership, this role will strengthen compliance, resolve service-related challenges, and support seamless unit openings and closings while driving operational efficiency across the foodservice segment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Compliance: Product & Vendor

  • Develop strategies to enhance product and vendor compliance within the foodservice industry.
  • Identify and address leakage opportunities at the district or unit level.
  • Provide reports on compliance percentages and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage vendor requests and facilitate conversions to approved distribution programs.

Problem Solving & Service Support

  • Resolve service-related issues tied to food and supplies procurement.
  • Address financial issues such as incorrect invoices or distribution errors.
  • Support disaster preparedness and recovery activities to ensure continuity of foodservice.
  • Collaborate with ENA Quality Assurance to resolve food quality concerns.
  • Monitor product recalls to ensure unit compliance with notices.

Product Availability & Inventory

  • Partner with Procurement, Culinary, and Operations teams on planning and execution of business events.
  • Ensure product shifts and forecasts are executed accurately across foodservice operations.
  • Manage slow or excess inventory lists to minimize waste and costs.
  • Provide usage projections to distributors in coordination with segment teams.

Account Openings & Closings

  • Represent Procurement in opening calls with Operations teams.
  • Share vendor resources, policies, and systems for new foodservice units.
  • Ensure proper vendor setup in CORE and order platform readiness.
  • Notify vendors of new unit openings and closings, coordinating equipment pickup and outstanding invoices.

Segment-Specific Support

  • Execute additional procurement and operational activities as assigned by the segment.
What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field (preferred) or comparable professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or foodservice operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in food service operations, procurement, or distribution within a multi-unit organization.
  • Knowledge of vendor compliance programs and food service distribution systems.

This position is based within the Trio segment under Elior North America. Some travel to foodservice units within the segment may be required.

This position may be based in Houston, TX; Pittsburgh, PA; Minneapolis, MN; or Jackson, MS. The corporate office in Houston is located at 4920 Westway Park Blvd, Suite 150. The role requires four days per week in the office, with the option to work remotely one day per week.

Compensation for this role is $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 commensurate with experience.
