We are seeking a Procurement Analyst for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will source, negotiate, and purchase machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, packaging materials, parts, services, and supplies necessary for organizational operations. You will compile and analyze statistical data to assess the feasibility of purchases and establish price objectives. Monitoring supplier performance is also part of the role.

This is a 12-month contract role (extensions likely), working 40 hours per week (Monday-Thursday, 10 hours per day), and can be performed remotely in Stratford, CT or Moorestown, NJ.

This position is a W-2 employee role with Stage 4 Solutions, offering health benefits and a 401K plan.

Responsibilities

• Gather information on price trends and manufacturing processes, evaluating opportunities to leverage material acquisitions.
• Track data related to price trends and manufacturing processes.
• Negotiate with suppliers and analyze their operations to determine factors affecting prices, aiming for the lowest cost while maintaining quality, reliability, and schedule commitments.
• Review proposals, negotiate prices, select or recommend suppliers, analyze trends, follow up on orders, verify deliveries, approve payments, and maintain records.
• Potentially prepare requests for proposals (RFPs) and bid packages.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of procurement or buying experience in the defense or aerospace industry.
• Experience with SAP.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage high volumes of purchase requirements and supply chain tasks related to assigned commodities and purchase orders.
• Bachelor's degree.
