VetJobs, in partnership with BAE Systems, seeks a procurement professional on-site in Endicott, NY. You will manage RFQs, negotiate terms, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to keep material flow aligned with MRP and manufacturing schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience; strong communication and Excel skills are essential, and experience with Oracle ERP is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Work within a team of procurement professionals to action material requisitions per MRP planning recommendations for assigned commodities.
• Using controlled sources, issue RFQs to approved suppliers, followed by negotiating pricing and delivery terms, to award Purchase Orders while adhering to all company procurement policies and procedures.
• Establish working relationship with supplier sales counterparts.
• Actively work with supply base to resolve delivery misalignments and overdue orders.
• Work with Commodity Managers to contribute to strategic initiatives and elevate supplier issues where applicable.
• Resolve delivery, receiving and accounts payable issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with Material Planners to support meeting the needs of the business.
• Maintain order backlog to facilitate proper manufacturing planning through MRP; mitigate schedule risks; and work with the established buying team for training, other resources, and team building.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations.
• Previous experience in procurement of various commodities.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP.
• Professional Supply Chain certifications such as CPIM or PMP.

Full-Time Salary Range: $61278 - $104173

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
