General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Procurement Analyst Expeditor to join our Strategic Acquisitions team in Sterling, VA. You will collaborate with suppliers to expedite orders, track deliveries, and identify alternate parts opportunities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 1+ year of related experience, and proficiency in Excel for reporting and Pivot creation. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and be a US citizen.

Job Description

GDIT is seeking a Procurement Analyst Expeditor to join our team as part of our Strategic Acquisitions organization. This Procurement Analyst Expeditor will be responsible for collaborating with the team and our suppliers on expediting orders, tracking upcoming deliveries, identifying potential new suppliers, and identifying alternate parts opportunities.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

• Extract reports from the procurement system and identify upcoming deliveries
• Track upcoming deliveries with suppliers and identify orders that are at risk of being late
• Update the procurement system with any shipping updates provided by the suppliers
• Research potential new suppliers that could be considered for a new partnership
• Review high risk or long lead time parts and work with the program and supplier base to determine potential alternate parts for consideration
• Other administrative tasks that may be required by the manager

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $25.63 - $32.20. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
