Procurement Analyst -Energy & Industrial Gas

Global leader in the steel industry is looking for a Procurement Analyst to bebe responsible for efficient procurement and management of the energy and gas supply resources in support activities to achieve the business goals.

This position is located in the Mobile, AL area and relocation is provided.

Responsibilities:

• Manage existing agreement for Industrial Gases (supplied via onsite Air Separation Unit)
• Coordinate production outages with stakeholders’ outages
• Develop budget forecasts based on contract parameters
• Develop suppliers and supply chains for industrial gas, natural gas and electricity in cooperation with ArcelorMittal North America
• Negotiate supply contracts and execute spot purchases
• Negotiate detailed purchase contracts with 3rd party suppliers
• Work with mill areas to develop supply plans

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or experience equivalent
• 3+ years’ experience in purchasing natural gas, electricity, and industrial gasses
• Experience with negotiating and executing supplier contracts
• Strong communication skills with internal and external customers
