Job summary

F.N.B. Corporation is seeking a Purchasing Buyer in the Operations unit of our Pittsburgh office.

The role focuses on developing strategies to improve purchasing efficiency, negotiating terms with suppliers, expediting orders, and monitoring deliveries while remaining compliant with regulations. The successful candidate will review requisitions, support multiple business units, and present activity reports to leadership.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Experience in procurement and sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Reviews purchase requisitions to ensure clarity, accuracy and completeness.
• Provides purchasing support to all Business Units and/or functional areas.
• Develops and presents Purchasing activity reports to the Director of Purchasing.
• Lead cross-functional teams on commodity projects and cost saving initiatives.
• Negotiate with suppliers for goods and services including RFPs and quotations.
• Develop and execute commodity strategy and cost analyses.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and related obligations.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
