Job summary

First National Bank of Pennsylvania seeks a Purchasing Buyer in our Operations unit to support strategic procurement and cost management. You will negotiate prices, terms, and delivery with suppliers, while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulations.

You will review requisitions, prepare procurement reports for leadership, and lead cross-functional projects to drive efficiency across the supply chain. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

• BA or BS
• 5 years of related experience
• Excellent management skills

• Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software
• MS Word - Intermediate Level
• MS Excel - Intermediate Level
• MS PowerPoint - Basic Level
• Knowledge of Business Concepts and Principles, Procurement processes, Strategic supplier management and Supply chain programs (Consignment, JIT, VMI) required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews purchase requisitions to ensure clarity, accuracy and completeness.
• Develops and presents Purchasing activity reports to the Director of Purchasing and to cross-functional teams.
• Lead cross-functional teams and business units on commodity projects, implementations and cost saving initiatives across the FNB footprint.
• Negotiates with suppliers for goods and services by coordinating the creation of specifications and soliciting competitive quotations and RFP's.
• Develop and execute overall commodity strategy including performing cost analysis on current commodity spend to identify projects for cost reductions.
• Assists the Director of Purchasing in ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and all other compliance-related obligations.
• Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
