Qualifications

  • 3+ years of supplier sourcing or procurement experience.

  • Proficiency with Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
  • Negotiation and contract management experience.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM/CSCP are a plus.

Job description

The Temporary Procurement Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting BBSI by engaging in diverse sourcing, contract lifecycle management, and supplier relationship management activities. Responsibilities encompass managing contract review meetings, overseeing the contract repository, and reporting, facilitating savings initiatives through RFx activities with third-party suppliers, coordinating various sourcing events spanning all indirect spend categories, and evaluating and mitigating supplier risks.

Length of time: approximately 16 weeks

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Define, design, plan, and execute projects with a supplier scope of work. Execute requests for proposal/quote, analyze supplier proposals and make recommendations for supplier selection to meet BBSI requirements.
  • Develop and implement processes and tools to measure project outcomes and key performance indicators.
  • Extract, analyze, and compile reports to evaluate supplier and internal performance. Using this reporting, take action needed to optimize supplier value, including driving BBSI business process improvement and/or collaborating with suppliers to improve performance.
  • Plan and conduct supplier business reviews, collaborating with BBSI and supplier stakeholders to set agendas, conduct meetings, and follow up on actions.
  • Develop and implement procurement practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to streamline and automate source-to-pay processes.
  • Develop and maintain the procurement project portfolio roadmap. Distribute, update, and monitor procurement plans aligned with company strategies.
  • Assess and report program compliance to internal and external stakeholders. Identify appropriate actions to achieve optimal compliance within BBSI and from supplier base.
  • Develop a supplier risk mitigation plan and initiate actions to manage risk

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years of supplier sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management experience
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, including functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUP and data visualization techniques. Experience with Microsoft PowerBI or other data analytics and reporting tools. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • Supplier contract negotiation experience.
  • Demonstrated Program implementation and management skills.
  • Professional certifications are a plus, including CPSM and CSCP, but not required.
