Job summary

Pella Windows & Doors of NJ and NY is seeking a supply chain professional to lead demand planning, new product introduction, and cost analytics. The role focuses on supplier continuity and optimizing cash flow, sales levels, and service through cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of hands-on supply chain experience, with strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills to drive improvements

Qualifications

  • Plan PFEP and manage supplier launches and transitions.
  • Develop spend analytics and identify opportunities across the supply chain.
  • Lead supplier continuity projects and improve delivery performance.

Job description

Summary

Responsible for managing and optimizing of the supply chain. Responsibilities will include a focus in 1 or more of these areas: NPI lifecycle management, supplier transition/tooling mgmt, cost analytics, supply continuity resolution, and demand planning activities with the goal of maximizing cash flows, sales levels, and service. This role involves coordination with internal and external stakeholders and third-party service providers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Demand Planning
  • Uses analytical, marketing, sales, business insights/development data to estimate future product demands.
  • This role engages in a variety of tasks such as creating and maintaining forecast models for customers, deriving mix, to provide an attribute level supplier forecast.
New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Responsible for managing the purchase part lifecycle on existing items, new products, change orders, product phase outs, and supplier sourcing transitions.
  • Plan For Every Part (PFEP) identification and manages supplier launch readiness and supplier transition projects.
Cost Analytics
  • Develop spend analytic tools, performing price maintenance & history, and identifying productivity total cost opportunities throughout the supply chain.
  • Responsible for supporting market testing and the should-cost process.
Continuity
  • Responsible for an integrated performance and supply assurance approach and process that delivers the supplier Quality and Delivery performance required by One Pella.
  • Leads the supplier process development, supply continuity projects and "Get Well", supplier delivery help chain, and supply assurance process ownership.

Education and/or Experiences

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Transportation/Logistics. Will consider candidates with 3-5yrs of hands-on experience in Supply Chain in leu of educational requirements.

  • Analytical: Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to make informed supply chain decisions.
  • Desire to Learn: A strong willingness to learn and stay updated on industry trends and technologies in supply chain management is important.
