General Description

The senior supply chain analyst analyzes and optimizes the organization’s supply chain processes. This role involves data collection, analysis, and reporting to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will work closely with various departments to ensure the efficient and cost-effective management of the supply chain.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Develop and maintain performance metrics, reports, and dashboards to track key supply chain KPI’s.
  • Process Improvement
    • Evaluate current supply chain processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Implement best practices in supply chain operations and logistics.
  • Supply Chain Planning
    • Assist in the development and execution of supply chain strategies and plans.
    • Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics departments to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Inventory Management
    • Monitor inventory levels and develop strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce excess stock.
    • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to manage lead times and ensure timely materials delivery.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Conduct risk assessments and implement contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
  • Supplier Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
    • Evaluate supplier performance and work on improving supplier quality and delivery.
  • Technology Integration
    • Utilize supply chain management software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in supply chain management.
Education, Certifications/License, Work Experience, Software Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in data analysis, process improvement, and supply chain planning.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to think strategically and contribute to long-term supply chain planning.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and market conditions.

Physical Requirements
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required during peak periods or unique campaigns.
  • Hybrid Role requiring two or more in-office days weekly, Monday through Friday.
  • Flexibility to travel to warehouses, manufacturing plants, and distribution locations with the ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist for long periods while at these locations.
  • Ability to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination (such as a computer, keyboard, and mouse) while constantly viewing a monitor.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to exchange information effectively.
