Job summary

Henny Penny is seeking a Procurement Analyst to support Strategic Procurement in Eaton, OH. You will manage supplier data, pricing, and contracts while ensuring data integrity across ERP systems.

You will conduct RFQs, supplier comparisons, and sourcing analyses to support informed business decisions. The role emphasizes cost savings tracking, supplier onboarding, and maintaining supplier scorecards, with a focus on indirect and consumable categories.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 0–2 years in procurement, supply chain, analytics, or related area.
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement platforms; JDE a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Office suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain supplier pricing, contracts, catalogs, item master records, and procurement data in enterprise systems.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of supplier, pricing, and procurement information.
  • Investigate, coordinate, and resolve invoice discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support supplier onboarding and maintain supplier compliance documentation.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute supplier scorecards and performance reports.
  • Analyze procurement spend, supplier performance metrics, and sourcing data to support decisions.
  • Track cost savings, cost avoidance, and procurement performance initiatives.
  • Manage assigned indirect and consumable commodity categories.
  • Conduct RFQs, supplier comparisons, bid evaluations, and sourcing analyses.
  • Model the Company Values and Expected Behaviors; perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Maintain supplier pricing, contracts, catalogs, item master records, and procurement data within enterprise systems.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of supplier, pricing, and procurement‑related information.

  • Support supplier onboarding activities and maintain supplier compliance documentation.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute supplier scorecards and performance reports.
  • Analyze procurement spend, supplier performance metrics, and sourcing data to support business decisions.
  • Track cost savings, cost avoidance, and procurement performance initiatives.
  • Manage assigned indirect and consumable commodity categories.

  • Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Analytics, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 0-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, analytics or a related field. Internship, co‑op, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement platforms preferred; JDE experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
