Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an entry-level procurement professional to support purchasing activities, assist with RFPs, negotiations, and cost analysis, and work with buyers to source goods and services. You will prepare purchase orders, collect data for bids, conduct supplier market research, and respond to inquiries to ensure timely, accurate procurement execution and customer satisfaction.

This role provides growth through exposure to contracts, vendor evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Entry‑level Procurement professional
• Carries out processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis.
• Works with buyers in activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and / or services.
• Carries out processes and standards in support of Procurement, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and / or program execution.
• Responds to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Works with buyers in activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services.
• Prepares purchase orders and payment approvals to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly.
• Assembles price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information for analysis.
• Supports the preparation of request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
• Compiles records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories, analyzes data and ensures account needs are met.
• Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.
• Conduct market research to assess supplier capabilities, pricing trends, and emerging risks.

Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
• Basic understanding of contracts including Master Agreements, Statements of Work and Order Forms
• Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree.
• Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization
