Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, Washington.

Position Responsibilities
  • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
  • Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
  • Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
  • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • More than 2 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
  • More than 2 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
  • More than 2 years of experience leading proposals, contract terms and conditions development, and negotiation efforts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • More than 2 years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
  • More than 2 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • More than 2 years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers
Typical Education/Experience

Typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation

Travel

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.
