The Boeing Global Services (BGS) organization has a unique and exciting opportunity for a Procurement Agent (Entry-Level, or Associate) to join the Supplier Management team located in Long Beach, CA. We are looking for a detail-oriented problem-solver who can support procurement activities in a fast-paced environment. Be a part of meaningful change as we examine and evolve our procurement processes, strategic understanding of our extended supply chain, along with the risks and issues within our supply chain. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical knowledge, analytical experience, and supply chain expertise.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels, including Entry-Level and Associate levels.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite in Long Beach, CA.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Issue POs in a timely manner.
2. Communicate and follow up with suppliers on order status.
3. Coordinate with suppliers and process PO changes.
4. Resolve Griefs and NCRs.
5. Interpret contract terms and conditions.
6. Use metrics and dashboards to ensure timely completion of tasks.
7. Facilitate supplier/subcontractor relationships, delivery requirements, and performance to contractual obligations.
8. Develop, document, and implement process changes supporting company goals.
9. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows.
10. Possess general understanding and the ability to act independently on routine problems or situations; have knowledge of company and local policies, procedures, and regulations.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, requiring a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15, including US Citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with procurement systems.
• Experience working with suppliers and vendors.
• Availability to work flexible hours, overtime, and occasional weekends.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years’ related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience with ERPLN.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing, supply base optimization, and supplier performance improvement.
• Experience in project leadership and management.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Education and Experience:

Entry-Level (Level 1): Related work or military experience, or an advanced degree preferred but not required.

Associate (Level 2): High school diploma or GED plus 3+ years’ related experience or equivalent.
