Job summary

PulteGroup is seeking a Procurement Agent to manage procurement and community setup across our nationwide operations. The role combines sourcing strategies with operational execution to meet budget goals and ensure compliance.

The position requires onsite attendance five days a week at our Bridgewater Township, NJ division office, working with construction, sales, and design teams to support multi-site communities.

Qualifications

  • Requires practical knowledge from advanced education with experience.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Typically 2–4 years of prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement processes for assigned categories, including sourcing strategy, contract execution, and supplier performance.
  • Oversee community setup strategy, including category data entry, pricing validation, and procurement policy and procedures for new communities.
  • Strategize with internal leadership to meet procurement and community-specific needs.
  • Lead category management strategies such as cost analysis, negotiation preparation, and contract implementation.
  • Facilitate trade partner strategy and communication to align with costs and requirements.
  • Provide input into procurement and community reports for actionable insights and accuracy.
  • Manage supplier and trade partner relationships to address compliance and risk.
  • Monitor and improve procurement processes and support cost containment initiatives.
  • Supervise and evaluate trade partner performance and inform hiring decisions.
  • Contribute to cross-functional teams to resolve challenges and drive improvement.

Job Summary

The Procurement Agent manages procurement and community setup, combining sourcing and operational strategies to ensure efficient and effective execution. This role includes managing supplier relationships, sourcing initiatives and community-specific procurement needs. The Procurement Agent aligns procurement strategies with construction and operational goals while maintaining compliance, process accuracy, and budget efficiencies.

This position requires onsite attendance 5 days per week at our Division Office located in Bridgewater Township, NJ.

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement processes for assigned categories, including sourcing strategy, contract execution, and supplier performance, to ensure alignment with cost, quality, and service goals.
  • Oversee community setup strategy, including category data entry, pricing validation, and procurement policy and procedures required for new communities.
  • Strategize with internal leadership, including construction, sales, and design, to ensure procurement and community-specific needs are met.
  • Lead category management strategies such as cost analysis, negotiation preparation, and implementation of contracts for communities.
  • Facilitate trade partner strategy and communication, to align with cost efficiencies, performance goals and legal requirements.
  • Provide input into and analysis of procurement and community-specific reports to provide actionable insights and ensure operational accuracy.
  • Manage supplier and trade partner relationships to address compliance, risk management, and ongoing performance improvements.
  • Monitor and improve procurement processes, and support initiatives for cost containment, value engineering, and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise and evaluate trade partner performance and inform hiring and termination decisions.
  • Contribute to cross-functional team efforts to resolve procurement and community challenges and drive continuous improvement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Information

$87,000 - $100,000 Annually

Hired applicant will be eligible to receive an annual bonus.

General Description Of Benefits

In addition to up to 9 paid company holidays per year, employees are eligible for up to 6 days of sick pay. Moreover, eligible employees with less than 10 years of service can accrue up to 17 PTO days per year (and up to 22 PTO days per year upon 10 or more years of service).
